Spot on i believe.

When people think of mercury levels in fish they think of tuna, swordfish etc, not so much the smaller fish like stripers. I am talking about your average consumer. I noticed a sign in CT at a public fishing spot warning about consumption limits of certain species. I have never seen a warning at a grocery store or sushi shops.

I really don't see why striper is in demand. It is so far down on my list of fish that i prefer to eat.

Everything is better on the rocks.

I knew i would catch something for saying that. I have tried it many different ways baked, grilled, fried the only way i like it is in fish cakes. Sad that i prefer to eat Pollack over striper. I gotta admit i have often thought about how good the 16" fish i am throwing back would taste.
