I have never really thought i had a need to carry. However, in light of recent events i have been thinking about it more. Maybe i am falling victim to the media reporting of all the shooting situations. Run, hide and lastly fight was talked about on the radio the other day as to how to deal with an active shooter situation. It does make sense to save your own ass but what if you have a ccw and the training? Stop the threat and minimize casualties to the innocent. San Bernadino, Paris, Newtown, pick your incident those ae the big three coming to mind. A properly trained individual or more could have made those situations a lot less deadly.

Good point Rob. Someone with proper training is the key though and its probably true that most that CC don't have it. That said, there are tons of resources available to get that training, such as Sig Saur academy in NH.

When I choose to carry, I do not go looking for trouble. I choose to carry in case trouble comes to me.
