As my truck got creamed by a deer three weeks ago, I am at the whims of Jess.
Means no Risaa for me.
Getting ready for more back surgery. This ones a little different, as work has decided not to honor leave of absence.
So, I work up until about 12 hours of my surgery, then they term me for job abandonment. 9 years of loyal service, nights, weekends, down the drain.
Oh, well. So I got that going for me, which is nice.
Aside from that, spending time with Jack while I can still be vertical.

Yeah, work, pretty weather dependent.
Also trying to heal a little after falling down my stairs a week ago, stubbed my toe bad on one foot and folded the ankle on the other, not walking well. Spring season's just around the corner......

Week End
No RISAA for me, saving my money for M&D sale in March. He has alot of great stuff coming in this year.
Ryan Collins from MFCC reported his first striper of the year, last night.
Thinking I may try out some of my new stuff if that wind lets up.

Hit RISAA tonight with the boy (nice to see you Niko and Toby), working Sat and cutting storm damaged trees Sunday morning, baseball after that and maybe catch the end of the NASCAR race.

Yeah,
I can't really talk about it. It's a sh*%ty way to end a 9 year very good run with a rapidly growing company. I was literally employee number 27, or something like that...they know what they're getting into.
In the end it's sad for me (I really stayed there so long because I loved the people, my bosses, and my customers), and this is a horribly awkward way to go.
That is all I can say about that and may be all I ever can say about it. I'll get by and find something else, I'm not worried about that part.
Sad, very sad.
Anyway, all you jerks have fun at the show. I SO WISH THAT I WAS THERE!

Thanks Bob. I'm hoping the operation will fix the back to a point where it is no longer a distraction.
As for the job, they gave me the tools to get into an industry that I would have never had a shot at before...so I owe them that.
I also made a lot of friends in the industry, as well...so I'm more than sure it will all work out in the end.
First world problem...I had a new leaning post made for the boat and bought Smith adjustable big rod holders for the back of the boat, and nice smaller ones for the front. I literally was going to have the work done at the end of January, and #^^^^&y said to me, "I think snow is coming this week." I'm glad I didn't put out whatever I was going to pay to have them put in...they can always wait until next year.

I drove down to Philadelphia, Haverford actually, for an uncles funeral on Friday. Was a great tribute to a man who was well known and gave back much to his city. I had not been to the city in quite a while, and was impressed with the changes downtown and reaching out to southern Philadelphia. My brother and I were treated to a Flyers matinee Saturday as well, by my niece's husband. Below are a couple shots taken from our seats..... nice seats. Really nice how all three sports complexes were all together. Parking was just 20 bucks, in the lot next to the stadium! That is half what it costs for any of the Boston teams' events. So I came home with a new appreciation for the city.

Yeah, I miss you too.
I've got professional representation. That's all I can say about that.
The good news is my truck will be fixed by Thursday, so at least I get to drive from March 4th to 21st. Bad news is that my back hurts so much, all I want to do is lay in bed when I'm not working.
I am going to try to buy a suit this weekend. If they don't direct me to "Huskytown" then that will be my reward of the season!
Bob, you would have been proud of me, I put in my own 1100 CFM hood that went up into the ceiling, in between the joists, and came out the back of the house for the Wolf stove. Works like pissa!
I'll text you when I'm out of the hospital. Thanks for the well wishes!
Rick
