Nope. Not yet.... The brother needs to come down from the clouds. If I can get it right, it will fit the bill for my son for the next two or three years.

I feel your pain.....the rust is starting and it's not cheap to fix but truck $$ seem to be outrageous for new and used. I can sit here and tell you nt to spend $5,000 on it but the fact of the matter it I know from looking myself thats the going rate and try to find something in better shape for that kind of money or less....probably not going to happen unless you get lucky. Debating whether to spend a small fortune to fix vs. a larger fotune to replace and be in the same boat in a couple years...only to have spent way more money in the process!

My 06' Silverado rockers are going......but so is the rear bumper and the wheel wells on both sides of the bed are popping. The truck has been awesome since new and owes me nothing at 180,000 miles I have not had a single repair.....just standard maintenance. However the cost to fix the body issues is too much! Figure if I can get 240-250,000 miles out of the truck thats pretty good! The body work is just more than I am willing to spend on a truck that I will only have 3-4 more years at best.

cant complain with the 180k but dont you feel a little anger saying it owes you nothing when its rotting out and only 10 years old? I swear that the "lease" is the worst thing to happen to the auto industry. Sure its fine for those that lease new. They trade it in, dealers sells for still good money and the vehichles are now only made to last about as long as the post lease sale warranty is up and thats about it!
