Yeah-
Out them and let them know that they just blew away a pile o business with your posting about it. Ask to speak to a manager first to arrange getting your reel back; or better yet, sent to someone that will repair it.
That's the kind of BS that really P's me off.
On a sort of related story, I just had to order a blank from Mudhole to replace the one my girlfriend just broke. And FedEx lost the package, which makes 3 out of 5 deliveries they've eff'd up in 18 months or so.
Best Mudhole could do is put in a claim and re-send the order so I'd have to wait another week because they said FedEx wouldn't pay to overnight it. After chewing them (FedEx) out and making a PIA of myself over a 12 hr period, FedEx will cover an overnight- they actually contacted Mudhole to tell them- and I should have it tomorrow. Now I have to get it built by Saturday and I'm really pretty busy right now.
This happens because FedEx uses subs to deliver and sometimes they come to Litchfield county from quite a distance and one front porch seems as good as another....
But anyway Ross, burn their butts
