Yup they were there, in a quick two hour scouting trip, it was a quick 40 schoolies; thankfully I brought my light action spinning rod. It was sort of a pain to peddle around all the dredging barges and floats, but it was worth it once I got up inside.

Just make sure you bring light gear, these are 12-16" fish, but on the right gear they are fun. I need to hook up some day you plan to go, you can tow my kayak and save me all that paddling to the prime spot.

Last boating trip was this past weekend and not very enjoyable. All cleaned, emptied and dropped off this morning for winterization & shrink wrap.
My brother & I are seriously considering driving down to southern jersey in the next week or two for a 2 day fishing session to end the sw season.
Been hitting the fw ponds with my son and he finally caught his first rainbow trout, although my first still evades me.

Boat is away, rods all stowed, and gear hung up for the 2016 season.
I've already test started the auger and started running through my tip ups. Ice will be here before you know it (I hope).
See you guys at Rick's in December!
