New rod

Either of those reels in 6K or 8K is fine for that rod. I'd prefer 8k ,but thats just me. A 1201M and a ZX27 is my swimming set up ,great for plugs/eels.
I like the blank so much I got one in conventional and that's my canal eeling rod.

Lol...I teach him how to stay out all night fishing, run around with guns and quality swear words...He gets his good qualities from his Mother. Thanks Ray.
