Rhody last night ......Krisp, t.,Chris......

Visited that Rocky little state last night for a few hours and even managed to not come home empty handed. A real nice fella in a bait shop in south county let me know where there had been fish the other night and later show me some nice spots. If I can get in touch with him, I owe ya one. Went there and learned a terrible lesson about fishing in Rhody versus my usual haunts taht I had not learned yet over the past few years fishing down there...... 30 pound fluro just doesn't cut it. You really do need heavy leaders, but the fish like eels just as much as Cape fish do. Ran into KRISPY and we beat around for a while. He was off eatin Wendy's when I finally found fish......STANDING IN THE SAND where I belong rather than balancing like a circus elephant on a rock. ......Toby and Chris, had hoped to run into you two...The Dynamic Duo...or some kind of duo. Even had the lucky socks....As an eel rag.. Woman didn't like them. Said they were too girly.....Caught some fish, learned a little more about fishing Rhody other than the breachways. And 6 eels just ain't enough, for them rocks especially when you start handin em out for people to let go for you to recatch.....Krispy, I'll get in touch with and the other guys about this comin weekend. Fresh Rhody Bass for dinner tonight.......and tomorrow, and the day after.......

Redlite - nice job. ya really gotta step up the leader material. if i had known you were throwing 30# the night we fished, i would have said something. i use 50# fluoro when eeling, and 60# jinkai mono when pluggin'. i may be around this weekend. PM me if you want to hook up.
