Obama got his fair share of worship too, and not just from citizens, but from the media...and from himself...remember his inauguration speech in 2008, something about how he was going to wave his hand and the earth would begin to heal and the oceans would stop rising. yup...he's still wearing Obama and Hillary Underoos on alternating days even though he bolted for Canada post election.

I think it's more like the remembrance of a Super Bowl victory where the other team was favored by 45 points and the fans of the other team and their members had been mocking your quarterback for the last year as the guy that cold never get it done.....there is a great video compilation of democrat politicians and hollywood dumbasses who provided some wonderful pontifications on the possibility(not) of a Trump presidency

I look at it more as one year since not her. I am not sure how much better or worse we are as there are elements of both.
