Do you do most of your fishing from a boat Eben or the shore? If you fish mostly from a boat, that rod will be worthless to you in which case you should simply give it to me!!
On the other hand if you fish the beach at all, that rod would be great for getting out over the high surf just about anywhere, especially down the Cape. Great rod for throwing large woood plugs....sorry I get excited when I say wood!
Basically it is a rod that is made for throwing anything from plugs to sandeel rigs and chunk bait to even live herring.
