Trying to keep this thread alive. This fish hit just at the end of my retrieve as I was going to lift my plug out of the water. Almost scared me off my perch into the drink.

Just starting to get good here... mostly small stuff but bigger fish have been showing each day

Digging out the panko and chef pauls blackened redfish magic

First trip in the yak today was a short one, but managed a quick limit, the difference was switching over to one of my 5" split tails in a light pink with red fleck on a 1" jig. Prior to that I was using lighter gear which I prefer, but the bite was all small fish until I upsized.

Nice CT river fish. Took a pencil in barely any water. She completely inhaled the pencil which made for an impossible release.

I think Guppy is on the leader board with his catch today. Either that, or his cutting board shrunk over the winter.

Great morning on the bay today. Aggressive fish smashing topwaters on the edges of the pogie schools. took home this 26# fresh spring bass.
