For the reasons I defend a lot things Spence. As a society, we should not go through life KneeJerking at every misstep or stupid move made by someone. Particularly by the left, you are likely to be sacrificed to some social jury mob.

No, I could fill the Pacific Ocean with the hypocrisy.
Roman Polanski is a famous director who was convicted in court of drugging and violently raping a child (I think a 13 year old), and he fled to Europe. Hollywood gave him a standing ovation not that long ago, long after we knew he was a child rapist.
So you tell me WDMSO, other than hypocrisy, why is a child rapist still embraced in Hollywood, but someone who calls people nasty names, isn't?
That's one example. I could go on all day. Look at the way they treated Sarah Palin, the things they said about her.
It's more acceptable to abuse conservatives, than it is to abuse liberals (and those sympathetic to liberalism). If Rosanne made fun of Sarah Sanders, there would have been zero outrage. |

I'm sorry - I don't think every time someone is compared to a monkey, it is a racist statement. When someone does it to B or M Obama it tends to be close or go well over into racism.
VJ is of Persian heritage - all of you know that, right? You knew that before today, right? So is saying she is the offspring of a monkey is it to be looked through a lens as if she is black?

And a follow up - sometimes things are racist, some times they are not. I thought her comment was stupid, though not racist.
Not being a fan of Rosanne (or Jarret for that matter) I have already expended more effort on the subject than I had expected to spend.
