What is going to happen to out country when the RUS/PRC/Gulf States decide that the US cannot manage it's finances?

What is going to happen the day the world decides that US Dollars, backed by F16s, Relative Freedom, Ingenuity, and once (more) stable policies is less a reliable trading mechanism than the Red Chinese ?
