He was President, and in charge from 2009-2017, during the Russian influence campaigns. His NatSec community were moving that info up the chain and he said to lay off. A dedicated and significant IC response was turned down. Remember he told Putty not to interfere. Sadly his lukewarm leading from behind did not inspire greatness nor instill fear into the Russian Mob Boss. If these bad things WRT to Trump happened and Obama knew about it (plus Clapper and Brennan) then there should be hell to pay.

The significant election meddling wasn't even brought to Obama's attention until the summer of 2016. It's not like they have real-time visibility into everything that's going on and it's not like there was no response. Obama did choose to delay some of the response until after the election to not create an even bigger election issue. Neither option was ideal so they drew a moderate line. I don't have an issue with that.

Regardless, what's even the point? Much larger issue is we have a national security apparatus insisting Russia will do it again and a POTUS who still denies it ever occurred.
