Yes we did Thanks to jemc for the heads up...cooked them up and they weren't horrible .. lets just say if I was starving or a cat they would be great.. I'll stick to C&R of these speedsters

and eating Fluke and seaBass

that's great...I was watching you out there.. jealous....they never came close enough for me on shore but I did get this...

Nice we were thinking we might pick one of those up .. there was more action on your side of the river ... and still alot of bait around my concern it will all be gone before the Albies show up and they will cruise right by ... the water temp was 76 it was 74 on the Claw Monday

But we did see thousands of 18 24in bass slurping bait from a distance the looked like a huge school of pogies

went out yesterday around 9 am .. managed 2 before a huge rain shower seemed to kill the bite .. still not picky got one on epoxy another on an albie snax the albie snax is a bit big but they love slashing at it

they seem to really perk up when the sun is out...this weather isn't helping...they were eating juvenile herring the other day so happy to smash bigger baits
