I'll be at Atlantis in mid January... I have no knowledge of the local fishing opportunities so I did some googling myself... seems like Atlantis frowns on fishing from their beaches but it's not clear if it's officially a no no... Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device
Two things - not exactly fishing but highly recommended. Go on the excursions where you can snorkel the reefs - there are several in and around PI. I don't know if they have any local but I super highly recommend the feeding the stingrays trip.
