Why doesn’t the author attack PETA for constantly anointing all living things ( including plants, mold spores, etc) with divine status? how come its only “demented” to go overboard with the Bush’s dog?

You’re expecting the dog to embody the story you’ve thrust upon it to satisfy your own emotional needs. That’s kind of demented.

Don’t know the author so I can’t comment about her other lack of writings.
