Syria - Rand Paul’s take
remember, Sen Rand Paul and Trump do not like each other one bit.
i’m not saying pulling out was right. I’m saying that if we’re going to post all the clips of people
who disagree with Trump, that perhaps there’s value in getting the other side, especially when it’s not coming from someone who always defends Trump. Paul
is not Sean Hannity.

Rand Paul opposes most all foreign interventions. He would have let Hitler take Europe Jim.

what did Paul say about Syria, specifically, that was wrong?
when obama sat
like a eunuch watching Assad gas his own people after dancing right across Obamas red line, did you feel Obama handled it poorly? or did you conclude that intervention was the right course, only after Trumps inauguration?
a little consistency, even the appearance of consistency, would
be nice.

It's sort of funny (in a sad sort of way) coming back and watching Jim's constant insults and constant arguing with everybody.

You insulted Obama. And you're certainly welcome to as many people insult Trump here but there's no one who argues with everybody else like you do and there's no one who insults more people than you do. it's a different order of magnitude. And I know you see no difference between when you do it constantly and when someone does it occasionally because you demonstrated that by trying to show a moral equivalency when Hillary said something one time or Obama saying something one time and comparing it to the hundreds and hundreds of times Trump does. But there is no equivalency. Spence did not insult Rand.

Based on his history Rand Paul would have been a staunch supporter of the last America First movement also.
I’m surprised to hear Jim support the most anti Israel member of Congress.
But maybe with his transactional view of politics that would be a fair payoff

You disagreed with him, that’s insulting
Makes me wonder what Stephen Miller’s nom de plume is? Though in this case it might be a nom de guerre.

It's mostly true, other than material support for GB, the US was keeping its eyes to the far east.
FDR wanted to do more but the nation was pretty split.
OTH - if today's politics (last 10 years anyway) were sent back to 1940, Europe would be farked.

PH put it over the edge but Rosevelt saw it coming and put us on a war footing. Probably one of the most signifigant actions by a US president ever. He knew it was inevitable.

Spence, for the second time now, what did Paul say that was wrong?
Vague insults are what you resort to, time and time again, when you are backed into a corner (or you back yourself into a corner), and can't admit those who disagree with you, might have a point. You do it a lot.

Obama warned Assad not to cross the red line, Assad danced across it in a conga line, Obama did nothing in response. That doesn't warrant ridicule? You'd put him on Mt Rushmore for that?
"Spence did not insult Rand."
He said he would have given europe to Hitler. Ask Spence if he meant that as a compliment. But it's acceptable when liberals do it, you don't even see it.
Hilary's worst moral lapse, in your judgment, is that "she said something one time". Okey dokey.

This is a classic needle in a haystack argument... like climate change
find that one guy against everyone else ... and hold them up as a conclusive voice over all others
