A 47 was dispatched from Montauk, so I am assuming it was a decision of who could get there quicker given direction of attack into given sea conditions. It would have been on the nose coming out of PJ.

I had coffee yesterday with a kid who I have mentored through some tough times trying to find his way. Same age as my kids. Had some significant surgeries to repair injured body parts from commercial fishing. Just returned from four months on Bering Sea fishing longline cod. They got hit by a rogue wave broadside in a 140' steel former crabbing boat. Unbelievable amount of damage. Three weeks in town to repair. I will post pics when he sends them.
