Not gonna say it happens a lot, but it does happen. My understanding is that with the ivy leagues, if you get accepted, they will make sure you can afford to go there.
There are also a lot of schools that offer free tuition and other scholarships based on GPA/Test Scores.

all i can say is just do the research, their is all kind of ways to cut costs and help out with tuition.

Next fall think about booking a tog trip out of Newport with Capt. Rob Taylor Newport Sport Fishing charters. Hes great with kids, and will no doubt put you guys on a great tog bite. An underrated quality of Robby is that he can cater to kids very well. They always have a huge smile coming back to the dock.

It's not saltwater fishing but if you enjoy freshwater...a day trip to quabbin? Rent a boat for <$50 a day with great fishing and scenery? Makes for a great day for cheap $$
