Drive 3 hrs each way to someplace in NY to pick up my son who just spent 3 weeks in Conakry, Guinea, then if the snows not too bad out to dinner and then Sunday do wood and the Pats. And read 500+ pages of spec's for a project.

bRI , lures , small jigs
.. real nice ones .but to be honest . the skunk the last 3. 4 trips .
we did a switch & went F/W last time out
...small jigs & bait .& we caught the largest yellow perch I,ve caught in RI . not one but just about everyone
been messing around getting a couple of F./W setups ready .started last year ,but didn,t follow up enough .
With the passing of denny I really don,t know what this year is going to bring besides trying to sell a bunch of stuff ::
I keep meaning to do some searching down near you ..But I havn,t got there .last weeks 46 miles one way ride for steamers & the tide didn,t go sucked

Where the hell are you going for steamers? Wherever it is, it's too far. If you drag a boat down there are plenty of steamers in the Great Salt Pond and Potter's Pond.

no boat Mike , I need a boat for salt pond & potters
If I had a tide , I,d have smoked them .its just we get a good tide up here & doesn,t go down there .
&&& it goes the opposite also I,ll get a call of ..it should be a good tide there & I don,t go
..they do well .
the problem with the ones down there is their shells are so soft
everything / way except a suction pump smashes them

I use a wide tined rake made from a bent pitchfork. Works well. A friend of mine who was a professional digger up in ME made it for me. Works well for dry digging.

Ha! Had a colonoscopy on Tuesday. What fun! Only took 20 minutes this time. Napped all day after that. Wife has the flu.
