Capitalism being irredeemable and bragging about sexually assaulting other human beings as a hobby are two different categories of things people say. One makes you a horrible person, the other makes you an misinformed idiot.
Lets be clear, she isn’t exactly the democratic party’s knight in shining armor, no matter what Fox News is trying to tell you. Representatives from both parties show up, say stupid stuff while their star is burning bright and flame out all the time, she’s no different if she just wants to keep saying stupid stuff. That’s why she’s one of hundreds like her who are asked to collectively make laws for our country... so her being a misinformed idiot just creates noise.

or maybe the leader of the party is the one who is currently the front runner for president, one Bernie Sanders, another committed socialist ( despite being wealthy with theee homes).
The Dems are doing everything they can, to get trump re elected. he may not get re elected, but they are making it more likely.

I kinda like Andrew Yang...he's proposing giving everyone a 1000 bucks a month...who wouldn't like that??? I will have 3 in college soon with the oldest already thinking med school so I'm signing on to the free college thing....I could use an extra thousand a month for all sorts of stuff, I could upgrade my Subaru for a TESLA and get all of those govt. rebates before they expire....I'm sick of paying for private health insurance that I never use, I'm happy to have the government pay for that and if I get an Obama phone I could have another 50 bucks a month in my pocket...becoming a democrat could easily swing my budget a couple thousand a month and these candidates are only getting started giving stuff away...hey...I work every day....how about a mandatory maximum 30 hour work week to protect me from myself and evil corporate bosses !!......I'm IN!!!

My wife and I have determined that we could move to Bedford or Brookline NH, get the same exact house we have now, better public schools, and save about $900 a month, and that's WITHOUT tolls in CT, which are coming (every 6 miles on every highway is the latest proposal). So if I can bring myself to move somehow, AND I get my 1,000 a month from Andrew Yang, I'm looking good, I can get that 23 foot regulator. |

When people like you or Spence tell me I'm an idiot, but never explain why, never offer a syllable about what specifically I'm wrong about, or what the correct answer is, it's hard to take you seriously.
It's an opinion that she's the most influential. I can't prove it. But she has, I believe, the largest social media following. And every democratic presidential contender jumped on the Green New Deal, which is about the stupidest thing anyone has ever written. Not ONE of them called it out for the nonsense we all know it is. What is the category of things people say that refers to past actions of someone as a representation of who he is now where there is no evidence that he does those things anymore? And for what he has apologized? And for characterizing something that is allowed as being an assault? Is there no redemption for past sins?
If capitalism is irredeemable, are humans also not capable of redemption? If we did something "horrible" in the past are we then forever horrible?
If there is a category for implying someone being what he once was but no longer is, it seems to me that category could charitably be referred to as misrepresentation.
AOC is doing her stupidity NOW while in a position of political power that can influence the entire nation. Trump did what you phrase as "horrible" (really, in its context?) in the private past. Which, of the two, is meaningful to the people of this country today? |
