I actually am borrowing someone else's river the next few weeks. On an average year I start getting
fresh fish in my parts of the CT river around the first week of May. Last year it started for me a little late. If the water levels allow me to access the shore, I believe I will be getting them the last week of April this year. I have a very simple formula that I have used for years to predict when I will get them.
