Mark the date, May 29th
Mueller just handed over an invitation to impeach on a silver platter....
What now? Who blinks? Does this day go down in history?

I think it’s even more inevitable now. Pelosi has been slow walking this for the obvious reasons but Mueller was pretty clear today in setting the record straight with what Barr has spun.

Mueller wouldn’t have spoken out today if he was ok with Barr’s spin of the report.

he said today he feels
barr acted in good faith.
Muellers intent today seems
to be to
nudge congress towards impeachment. he likely succeeded.

And on another note The Wall Street Journal just reported that Trump did not want to see the USS John McCain so they put a tarp over the name and when the tarp fell off moved a barge in front of the ship amongst other things. What a sad small man we have as president.

Surprised he even has time to deal with such chit that would normally be the domain of an event planner..... And how does that sit with any sailor who is ordered to cover up the name of his warship????

he’s very vindictive and small.
The remedy for that is the next election, not impeachment.

Dems keep going to the left - I might actually vote for Trump this time.

if there’s an impeachable offense, i’m assuming we both want him impeached. but it appears as if this is all because they can’t stand the guy. and he acts in a way that makes it very challenging to like him, I’ll give the liberals that.
Anything to avoid an honest, accurate discussion about whether or not his ideas or Bernie Sanders’ ideas, are best for all of America.

Repub. went far to the right so I stopped voting for them. I think I've still voted for more Repub. Pres. than Dems.

when was the national GOP far more moderate than it is now? Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan are conservative extremists? Come on. John McCain, Mitt Romney, even Trump isn’t that conservative.

How Republicans have changed
Lying about consensual sex with a White House intern - an impeachable offense.
Lying about a consensual relationship with the Russians - not an impeachable offense.
No wonder Putin is laughing at us.

the national democrat party is absolutely unrecognizable compared to where it was 20 years ago. Bill
Clinton could
never get the nomination today, he’s waaaaay to
moderate. Balance the budget by cutting taxes and kicking people
off welfare? Come on, Paul, thats tea party ideology. And it worked .

No, I'm saying the opposite. Taxes, abortion, nationalism - look at Reagan's positions vs today. The far left candidates get most of the press but the majority of the left voters wants someone more moderate then those candidates.

Neither is an impeachable offense, unless it was done under oath.
And what, exactly, is the consensual relationship with the Russians?

Has Mueller asked any questions if Barr’s good faith? Not that I’ve seen.

I agree that very few voters want radicals. i don’t agree that at the national level, the GOP is anywhere near as radical as the democrats. the abortion law in AL is out there. but by and large, the leaders of the GOP are waaaaay more
moderate than Pelosi, Schumer, and the gaggle of freaks running for potus, except for Biden. and an impressive congresswoman from Hawaii who isn’t going anywhere.

Louisiana’s Democratic Governor Signs Heartbeat Abortion Bill Into Law
May 30, 2019 6:03 PM
It passed the state House of Representatives on Wednesday on a bipartisan 79-23 vote.
The bill’s sponsor, Democratic state senator John Milkovich, argued that the effective six-week abortion ban reflected the values of his constituents in a statement celebrating the bill’s passage.

This didn’t happen, even CNN is admitting it didn’t happen, Trump played zero role.
the media will say or do
anything to make him look bad. Can’t we just stick to facts? Arent there enough truthful moral lapses to criticize him for?
You need to take everything they say, with a grain of salt. Everything. They are not capable or reporting accurately on Trump, they are literally incapable of doing it.

The fact was that someone in Trump's admin. know that the baby in chief wouldn't want to see the ship or even the badge of a sailor w/the name on it. A tarp was even put over the name. So we have an whole admin. who now is as petty and small as our Pres. If this was the Obama admin. you would be talking about for years. He again mocked a deceased American (hero) even after duck ing out on military service. How is this not bad?
Why bring up CNN when WSJ broke the story?

i don’t know that we
know why it was moved, or who requested it. what we
know is that the WSJ said trump had it moved, and we
know he didn’t. I mention CNN because they have also been known to lie to attack trump, but they are reporting that this story was fabricated by a wsj reporter who has a well documented history of blatantly dishonest reporting to smear Trump. Add the wsj to the list of media outlets that can’t be trusted. i honestly don’t know who’s left? Fox has Sean Hannity who is a dishonest clown, and from where i sit, almost everyone else is the mirror image of him.
that wasn’t a critique of
you Paul, not at all, you know i think you’re mostly fair
and honest. that was a critique of the media, all of whom have abandoned any journalistic integrity they had remaining after the obama years, in an attempt to take down the guy who humiliated them all. they can’t be trusted any more than sean hannity can be trusted. i know of one person in prime
time who regularly criticized his own side when they deserve it, and regularly praises the other side when hey deserve it - Tucker Carlson. Who else routinely praises and criticizes both sides?
obama
once gave a speech at notre dame, and some catholic items behind obama were covered with a tarp during the speech. You’re right i was offended by that. I’d also be offended if trump had that ship
moved or had a tarp put on the name. we
don’t know that trump did that. i’m not a glaring hypocrite, i am disgusted by how small and petty and vindictive trump is. but his policies are working wonderfully, and that’s far more important than his bedside manner.
