Having a boat with the engine worth twice the value of the hull doesn’t make sense to me... IMO

plus, u need room for that growing family... she’ll understand...
She’s supportive of the move up, but my ability to just “throw er on the hitch and go” starts to get complicated as I drool over 24’s, given that I just found out that since my 21 is wider than 8’6” I’ve actually been needing a wide load permit the whole time I’ve owned it... So at this point new boat = new truck = all kinds of other new things... I’m evaluating avalanche avoidance tactics with the repower conversations

I was thinking I might be able to find a haul off for ~5-7k and get something like the best of both worlds, but I’m aware what a crap shoot used outboards are...
