Another neighborhood block party tonight...
checking lobster pots in the morning and a little bass fishing..
cook and vacuum seal any "excess" lobsters not turned into Saturday night dinner
Sunday is sauce day... tons of tomato to make into sauce.. pick and freeze Brussels sprouts.. eggplants and peaches need picking too..
Monday morning a little fishing before the masses wake up and travel.

Probably head up to the boat tomorrow and grab my fall stuff so I can fish with Ray in the coming weeks. I'd like to go out with the boy tomorrow, he's just a little too young to be the only first mate. One more year.
Sunday some kind of birthday party.
Monday relax.

Got skunked this morning, throwing wood in the Taunton River. Spent the rest of my day at Pick-N-Pull getting misc parts for the boy's truck. Cleaning and organizing the work trailer for my first day with a new company on Tuesday. Nothing planned for Sunday and at the fire station Monday.

Wife and MIL left at 0430 in my Tahoe for five day trip to BIL's in Va. MIL needs to do this. First trip to see grandkids in 15 years I have been in the picture... Wife had "reserved" a full sized rental at Hertz for the trip, but when we went to pick it up last night (9pm) there were Kias with high miles or Ford Ecoboosts only in the aisle they showed her to. It is a personal trip, BUT, Hertz screwed the pooch on this one. Wife manages global travel for a corporation that has already given them $5.7 million this year.... Service (awful, lazy, another subject altogether) and equipment sucked.
Getting daughter's updates as she is moved around the approaching hurricane with the airline.
I am going on first boat outing. Lunch on brother's picnic lobster boat. I have instx to bring ice cream for pie... WTF. Really? I am bringing a rod and couple dead macs for the mooring. (no, he doesn't have any onboard...) Bungees too. No rod holders.
But it will be good, as I am walking without a cane! Pick up first check in six months from a small job I got done this week... Been the longest summer of my life but I am finally turning a corner...
Be safe. Have a glass is half full weekend!
