the impeachment proceedings were called for before the whistleblower came forward, weren’t they?
the squad is running the party. Abortions until the moment of birth, student loan forgiveness, reparations, medicare for all, open borders. pelosi knows these are policy losers, but she cannot stop the squad from forcing the party to embrace these idiotic policies.

The silliest part of all this, is that Trump thought he could actually pull this scheme off, but he does believe he is above the law. The old classic I fought the law and the law won is perfect 2020 campaign song, he can play the victim all the way to the final vote.

It was in the articles, and then they specifically removed it.
Again, if a guy running for president robs a bank in another country, is it "bribery" for the sitting president to ask that country to find out what happened? A sitting president, our chief executive, isn't allowed to ask for an investigation into a political rival? Never, under any circumstances? It's always "bribery"?
How about Biden bragging that he explicitly threatened to withhold aid unless they fired a corrupt lawyer? The way Biden was bragging, obviously he thought that helping oust that prosecutor would help him politically, and therefore economically. Why wasn't that also "bribery"?

McCain? Interesting. Where was the concern for McCain, when Obama and the media claimed he was a senile old racist ( despite adopting a black orphaned girl). Save it.

Got Stripers, earlier this year, pelosi said she’s oppose impeachment unless it was overwhelmingly bipartisan.
Then the squad ordered her to. She caved on those principles and gave in to them. It could be a political
disaster. Or it could be a political win.
“It has to be a bipartisan initiative.”

I think all that’s moot now that we have proof of Trump trying to cheat in the 2020 election.

it’s moot because those
who actually control House, the squad, got tired of waiting. Their attention span isn’t all that long.
Trying to cheat. So a sitting president running for re election, can never under any circumstances, ask a foreign
government to look into what a political rival is doing? Not ever, not under any circumstances?
Her words, “it has to be a bipartisan initiative”.
How come senate democrats weren’t trying to cheat in the 2020 election, when they asked Ukraine to investigate Manafort and Trump?

The squad has little influence over the house, far more over Fox News freak outs.

They didn’t ask for anyone to investigate Trump. They were openly asking for Ukraine to respond to requests as part of an ongoing DOJ investigation.
Totally different situations.

The NYT says the squad is very influential. I guess they are just a satellite of
fox news?

same with Newsweek, Spence. How many more do you want?
There is a reason why the party has shifted way to the left in the last 12 months.

Floridaman lies Republicans started the work that went into the dossier, investigators verified the thrust of it, and a Republican gave it to the FBI Director. No one spied on Floridaman’s campaign. And what he did with Ukraine was much worse than Watergate, which is why he’s now impeached

Just like Watergate but bigger: Trump admin record!
191 charges
90 indictments
26 Russian nationals
6 indicted Trump officials
6 convictions
5 guilty pleas
1 impeachment

The only crime Trump appears not to have committed is murder, and to be very clear I'm only referring to premeditated domestic murder, as there's no doubt whatsoever he bears legal responsibility for the murder of hundreds or thousands of innocent Kurds in northern Syria.
When the story of what Trump did in Syria is written, it'll be found to have been worse than what he did with Russia and worse than what he did with China and worse than what he did with Ukraine and worse than what he did with UAE and worse than what he did with Saudi Arabia.
What Trump did in Ukraine is impeachable—what he did in northern Syria is a war crime.
And he did it for money—he let children be slaughtered for money.
When the Democrats began an impeachment inquiry with respect to Ukraine Trump's reaction should have been oh my god thank you so much for only seeking to impeach me for Ukraine rather then Ukraine and Russia and Israel and Saudi Arabia and UAE and Turkey and Syria.
So when you consider the question of whether a trial for Trump should include witnesses, he claims are exculpatory, set it against the backdrop of him having gotten away with war crimes and other crimes and this being the mildest inquiry he could ever possibly face.

Trump is being judged based on what Trump did, not on his fairytales about the FBI, Hunter Biden, Obama or anyone else.

Even Pence’s aid still indicated in an interview that Ukraine may have interfered as well, they haven’t given up the conspiracy theory and Rudy is still out there shoveling dirt out of the hole they will bury them both in.
Jim as to your comment on going after McCain, it’s one thing to do it while the man is alive and another to do it after they are buried, but Trump can never let anything go. That is why he lies incessantly, that is why he goes to such lengths to cheat in 2020, it’s hard to believe a man this insecure was elected president. Your comments on the squad are laughable, if you believe that, than you too must be buying into the Ukraine conspiracy.

so the criticism of the FBI is a Trump fairytale. The IG didn’t find any issues there?
