Now let's do surfers.
I never fished RI till late September at the earliest and fished till it was freezing.
One morning, shortly after dawn, I was on a rock on the SE corner of PJ. Like all the way south, any more you'd have to go west. I'd been picking fish for a couple of hours.
Looked behind me and there were a couple of surfers right behind me. They had to walk for 10 minutes to get there.
I cast again (not a short cast) and needless to say, immediately the geniuses put in and paddled right past me into my line.
It was all I could do to not set up on them when they paddled into my line and my plug came over one's shoulder.
I can't imagine fishing there in the summer.
