He's not interested in that. His basic interest, as I think he once stated in other words, is to expose for us all the danger of Trump. Since there is still resistance to his opinion on that, he has to keep us all focused on the danger. So he can't leave much space for discussions of other topics which distract us from the only relevant and important thing in our time--what little is left of it if we continue to remain ignorant of the terrible destruction that is daily, hour by hour, minute by minute being wrought on the very fiber of our national and political existence by this illegitimate fakery of a President who must be stopped before he can be re-elected. Pete F has to speak and filibuster in a way that figuratively grabs us by our lapels and shakes sense into our stubborn, ignorant heads--while there is still time.
So he can't really allow much space for frivolous discussion. He must inject his message into every thread and flood the zone with words that drown out irrelevant chit chat and immerse us in the truth of orange man bad. Really, really, really very bad.
