Trump should never have used that stupid line, but it's true, and it's not unique to Trump. I haven't seen a single liberal here, apply the Kavanaugh standard to Biden. Some well-known democrats have said they believe Tara Reade, but they are voting for Biden anyway, because his winning is more important than Tara Reade's claim.
So it's OK when democrats plug their nose and vote for the deeply flawed guy whose policies they like. But when the right does it, that's different? Why?
