Reckless boating
My dad was a marine, but he wasn’t an A-hole and respected others and always obeyed the rules of the road. Fishing up inside BB today I couldn’t believe this clown in a 27 foot Boston Whaler with twin Yamahas and the name Semper Fi comes blasting thru 15 kayaks wide open with no more than 25-30 feet either side of him with multiple kayaks. We were not in the channel and up on a 15 foot flat fishing for sea bass and fluke. He sneezes or someone distracts him he is killing someone. Once ok your an A-hole four times I got your boat numbers and I dropped a dime on him. Aside from that my two hour trip to the seafood isles resulted in five keepers and a nice fluke for tonight’s diner

I think those guys refer to you yakkers as "speed bumps"...you aren't supposed to get in their way because their toy cost more than yours...what's wrong with you????

Yeah, I’ve had a***holes like that every now and then roar by when I’m yakking, the kind of folks who like twin 225s. Need to stop by Camp Lejeune, get a bazooka and be waiting for him next time!

Four times back and forth from his pickup point with new guests for a ride, his port of call was close to where we were fishing.

In my younger days ,as I crossed heading for Strong Island to duck hunt with my 3hp motor. A large craft up on plain with three ft wake crosses in front of me.
With one twelve gauge across his bow and he stopped on a dime and watched me surf his wake.
At lest I didn't sink

I hate to say this, because I have a great respect for almost EVERY American Marine that I have met...maybe he was borrowing somebody else’s boat? Maybe he was all cooped up from wearing masks, who the hell knows.

Few years ago, we were in the upper bay and this guy in a 28 Contender with twin Yami 200 was roaring everywhere. Wake, waves, drinking at about 6:30 AM.
Well, the next time he came by acting like an asshat, my nephew and I unloaded on him with 4 oz snagging hooks.
I was carrying but decided against blowing a few .45 ACP holes in his bow. He came back mad as a hornet and we had a pleasant discussion until he saw the Glock on my hip. Bye Bye.

Saw a guy roaring around in North Carolina a while ago blowing by everyone in one of those incredibly loud cigarette boats with twin car engines. Saw him go up a shallow channel that we knew about, knew he would run aground, and split our sides laughing when he blew one of his engines.
