Nice catch Ray! The mention of blue crabs always triggers a vivid memory I have .... fishing a new moon high tide near a salt pond one night and seeing an army of them...literally thousands of them.... several layers deep... marching towards the ocean as the high tide spilled into the pond. Never seen anything like that again...or since.

In a tin boat bass fishin one night, pretty sure this time of year, We had them swimming all around us on the surface,,,, don’t know what that was all about....

Been thinking about trying this. There's been a ton of them swimming by and on the pilings of a dock I've been taking some casts from. Bright healthy looking ones.
