Not racist at all either
President Trump: "How about Omar of Minnesota? We're going to win the state Minnesota because of her, they say. She's telling us how to run our country. How did you do where you came from?"

If a woman moved from the U.S. to Germany, and Merkel asked her how she did where she came from, would that be racism?

Your false equivalencies are amazingly bad.

I'll let Omar's retort speak for itself: "I fled civil war when I was 8. An 8-year-old doesn’t run a country even though you run our country like one.”

Frasier: Niles, I’ve just had the most marvelous idea for a website! People will post their opinions, cheeky bon mots, and insights, and others will reply in kind!

Niles: You have met “people”, haven’t you?

Lets Go Darwin

you are missing trumps point. his point is, she wouldn’t be doing as well as she’s doing here, had she stayed.

why is that racist? totally fair to point out that she chose to flee somalia, and that she’s doing great here. totally fair to use that as evidence of our promise.

I think the rule is more like you're not supposed to say racist things about a black person. Didn't you get the memo?

Is saying that a black person was born in Kenya a racist thing?

When there’s no evidence of it and you’re just doing it to make people uneasy? Hell yes.

Making people uneasy is racist? . . . Oh, that's right, the new definition, everything is racist if you want it to be.

An 8 year old chose to flee Somalia.? Do you actually believe what you write

Did the 8 year old chose to be molested by the. Catholic priest

Trumps never used her success as evidence of our promise .. more like a problem who are these non white Americans and how dare they to speak to us about America 🇺🇸

OK, her family chose to flee. And Trumps point was, her family did a whole lot better here. You disagree with that? You have an issue with pointing that out?

"Trumps never used her success as evidence of our promise "

He did it yesterday. I don't know if he ever has before.

"more like a problem who are these non white Americans and how dare they to speak to us about America "

Youre hearing things he didn't say. Omar despises the traditional view of this country, obviously, so it's fair to ask her why she hates the country that essentially saved her.

He said "now she's telling us what to do" like she has no rights because she's not a US citizen. It's the exact same birther BS he played with Obama...because they're black Jim.

He has no right to say that she has no right to tell us what to do. Of course she does. That was stupid.

I don't have a problem with saying "she despises the country that saved her". Her ethics are also pretty sketchy. She likes her men apparently, and she likes funneling campaign donations to her pals for sure. And if she married her brother, she fits right in with the Bidens.

That's the problem with trying to frame something as being racist when there is no actual provable racism present--you have to say it's "like" racism. So that supposedly gives you the license to irrationally say "now she's telling us what to do" is racist.

It's the exact same birther BS he played with Obama...because they're black Jim.
That's another form of "like" racism. The birthers' contention was that Obama was not born in the U.S.A. That would have been the same contention if he was born in some lily white European country such as Sweden. But because Kenya is mostly black, there is an opportunity to invoke the "like" factor. When whites say anything negative about black people or black countries, it's "like" racism.
