I have heard about the orbs but honestly didn't know much about them. My wife and I plan on taking a look now.

When are they placed? Is it a certain time of the year or just random?

We start hiding them the first weekend in June and are hidden throughout the summer and fall until Columbus Day. It’s a lot of fun

There’s a path with a stone wall on one side and a fence on the other. When you see the rock in the path go 50 paces until you see a tree. You have to get on your tippy toes but the notch in the tree usually has one.
