In 2016, Dems accepted the loss. Their protest was against Trump’s policies. The transfer of power & continuation of our republic were not in question. Trump won’t accept the loss & puts the future at risk, as do his enablers if they won’t condemn dangerous nonsense.
The felon Flynn has the president's ear on post-election strategy. So it matters when Flynn goes on TV, describes possible federal seizure of voting machines, sending military into swing states to 're-run' election, and defends martial law.

CLINTON: Thank you. Thank you all. Thank you.
(APPLAUSE)
Thank you all very much. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you so much.
(APPLAUSE)
Very rowdy group. Thank you, my friends. Thank you. Thank you, thank you so very much for being here and I love you all, too.
Last night, I congratulated Donald Trump and offered to work with him on behalf of our country. I hope that he will be a successful president for all Americans. This is not the outcome we wanted or we worked so hard for and I’m sorry that we did not win this election for the values we share and the vision we hold for our country.
But I feel pride and gratitude for this wonderful campaign that we built together, this vast, diverse, creative, unruly, energized campaign. You represent the best of America and being your candidate has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
(APPLAUSE)
I know how disappointed you feel because I feel it too, and so do tens of millions of Americans who invested their hopes and dreams in this effort. This is painful and it will be for a long time, but I want you to remember this. Our campaign was never about one person or even one election, it was about the country we love and about building an America that’s hopeful, inclusive and big-hearted.
We have seen that our nation is more deeply divided than we thought. But I still believe in America and I always will. And if you do, then we must accept this result and then look to the future. Donald Trump is going to be our president. We owe him an open mind and the chance to lead.
Our constitutional democracy enshrines the peaceful transfer of power and we don’t just respect that, we cherish it. It also enshrines other things; the rule of law, the principle that we are all equal in rights and dignity, freedom of worship and expression. We respect and cherish these values too and we must defend them.
(APPLAUSE)
Now – and let me add, our constitutional democracy demands our participation, not just every four years but all the time. So let’s do all we can to keep advancing the causes and values we all hold dear; making our economy work for everyone not just those at the top, protecting our country and protecting our planet and breaking down all the barriers that hold any American back from achieving their dreams.
CLINTON: We’ve spent a year and a half bringing together millions of people from every corner of our country to say with one voice that we believe that the American dream is big enough for everyone – for people of all races and religions, for men and women, for immigrants, for LGBT people, and people with disabilities. For everyone.
(APPLAUSE)
So now, our responsibility as citizens is to keep doing our part to build that better, stronger, fairer America we seek. And I know you will.
BTW, she went to the inauguration also..........

Your 9 ahead of me
Trump has single handily turned the Republican Party into a joke , they had a choice and they like you chose to support Him and his politics.. you don’t get to run away now ....
Ps from day 1my issue has always been with Trump never with the party as a whole. Until the nonsense since nov 3rd they lost all credibility and they have run out of excuses, you haven’t I doubt you ever will..
Love your disappointment
and for nit sending in troops to put down the violent lefty protests
Doesn’t get more anti American then wishing to send in the Troops
Let me guess you’ll be disappointed if he doesn’t declare martial law and have the military re do the vote in states he lost .. because you think what’s the military for if you can’t use them against Liberals

Wayne, you say you're not a partisan. Please tell us, in what way you are different, from a liberal partisan.
You see, I can say I'm not a blind Republican partisan, because I can point to issues where I disagree with Republicans (death penalty, gay marriage, making healthcare more accessible, gun control to some extent). I don't think there are any major issues, on which you could say you disagree with Democrats.
"turned the Republican Party into a joke "
you say the entire GOP is a joke. But you're not a partisan!
That joke of a party, despite having such a horribly flawed president, made gains in the house (no one saw that coming), may well hold onto the Senate (most didn't see that coming), and made gains in state governments (which no one predicted).
The GOP is still as much of a force as the democrats. But you call is a joke. But you're not a partisan!
Your side isn't a joke? You elected a senile old rich white guy who can't string 5 sentences together any longer, and his running mate polled at 5% in the democratic primaries and only got where she is by s#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&g her way to the top. Literally, no one can run for potus as a democrat without kissing Al Sharptons ring. Your side celebrates abortions until birth, the looting of cities every time you don't get your way, you claim POLICE are to blame for what's happening in our cities (instead of blaming stupid public policy which actually caused it), a dingbat like AOC is one of the 10 most powerful democrats in DC. But the GOP is the joke. Right, right.

Youre the most ignorant person on this board. WHat are citizens supposed to do, when state/local authorities won't maintain peace? What would you do?
When Eisenhower was president, American schools were ordered to be de-segregated. In Arkansas, the racist governor (guess which party???) refused to let blacks attend white schools. He actually used Arkansas National Guardsmen to prevent black students from entering schools, defying federal law.
So Eisenhower did the only thing. He sent in the 101st Airborne, armed to the teeth, and told that racist hick (and democrat) governor to get the hell out of their way.
I suppose you oppose what Eisenhower did there, you would have preferred that he not send in the troops. You'd have told those black students to lump it in their horrible black schools? Is that what you would have done? Because history has pretty much decided that what Eisenhower did was awesome. But you disagree. You said that what Eisenhower did, was anti-American. It was "anti American" for the president to make sure that actual racism was squashed? Not the fake racism that democrats today never stop menstruating about, I mean real, actual, brutal, racism. Youre actually saying it was un-american for Eisehower to use troops to enforce anti-segregation laws?
WOW. I mean, wow.
FOR ONE SECOND, can't you put down your rabid blind partisanship, and imagine how you'd feel is you put your life savings into a small business that was being ransacked by a mob, and your governor didn't care? Wouldn't you beg for your president to send in the troops?

It’s not a false equivalence. You said it’s anti american for the federal government to use troops in our cities. i provided a famous example. you knew you lost, so you babble about a false equivalence.
what you’re saying, is it would only be unamerican if trump did it.
for the second time wayne, if you invested your life savings in a small business, and it was being ransacked by rioters, and your state and local government chose not to enforce the law....you said it would be un american for you to wish that the feds would send in troops?
better for you to just watch them burn your business down? that’s what you’d do?
why won’t you answer?

You still have no concept on why Trump wanted to send Troops, his desire had nothing to do with law an order or saving any American small business ( his absent in the Covid bill re enforces he doesn’t care about American small business or Americans in general) he just wanted to send in the Troops to fulfill the fantasies of his supporters like you. And show those libs who’s boss. Nothing more it was a state issue..
And seeing you still have a lack of understanding When the governor of Arkansas failed to integrate Central High School, President Eisenhower called in federal troops to protect the Little Rock Nine.
The Arkansas National Guard was drawn into the conflict when Governor Orval Faubus ordered them to "Preserve the Peace" by turning away the black students who were attempting to integrate into Little Rock's Central High School. United States President Dwight D. Eisenhower reacted to this use of the Guard to foil the court-ordered integration by federalizing the entire Arkansas National Guard and using it to protect the nine black students integrating Central High School.
If that’s to hard to understand I’ll make it easier
Eisenhower did what he did to
Uphold Civil Rights And Protect Black Americans.
Trump Is Trying To Silence Dissent with his threats Send in the feds
The 2 are still not remotely the same
Ps Trump never actually did anything

Not within a million miles of anything I ever said or would say. But when you can't respond to what I actually did say, why not respond to something I never cam close to saying. You do that a lot. Most liberals do. It's what one does when one knows the other side has a point, but you can't admit it.
