The docs aren't rock stars anymore. The offices are run as a business with a business plan they have to adhere to in order to make money. So you might only be allocated ten minutes with a doc, who spent two minutes reviewing your chart, moments before he entered the room you have been waiting in for him/her.
You have to be educated and advocate for yourself or your family member.
