The Wall That Heals New England visit in Nahant

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund “Wall That Heals” will be in Nahant from July 15 - July 18, 2021. This incredible mobile exhibit features a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, standing 375 feet in length and 7.5 feet high. The 53-foot trailer that carries “The Wall That Heals” transforms to become a mobile Education Center with a timeline of “The War and The Wall”.

I think it only has those killed/missing in action listed, Paul.

I hope to see the original in DC this summer.

It's powerful, I think hands down the most moving memorial in DC.

Moving memorial.

Other than the politicians, and the humidity, DC is a pretty nice place.

I'm sure that the humidity in mid-August will be, uh, "memorable". Wasn't there a time when foreign diplomats posted to DC were entitled to hazardous duty pay, due to the humidity and mosquitoes?

Seen this and the wall in DC. First time was right after reading "We Were Soldiers Once and Young" by Hal Moore and Joe Galloway. Most heart wrenching book I've ever read. Afterwards I told my wife I had to go and physically "touch" the names of those in the book. Very emotional and sacred place.

DZ, agree with you on the book and the men in it. Movie ok. Another book to read is "Bait". If you know men/women on the wall, it is very moving.

Incredible book. The story of Rick Rescorla 35 years later continued.
