What Is Fishing?

Marty that place is loaded with big stripers. With all the boats and structure you don't have a chance with light line. The bass feed on the scraps that fall off the lobster boats and some of the big ones are under the Finestkind boat. I used to fish at Hewits Cove off the floats with my cod rod and drag tightened all the way down, you would drift a chunk under the main float get a hit then run to the end of the finger peirs cranking the whole way. It was brutal meat fishing but I landed some nice fish. I go up there once a yearfor the last three years and i'm going back Sept. 22 for the weekend. The best place I found up there is Wells Beach on the north end where the beach meets the rocks.
