college teaching is a HUGE racket. those folks make really good
money, and it’s usually a very very cushy assignment, most can’t conceive of working 2,000 hours in a year.

i played some tennis a few times with the chairman of the sociology department at wesleyan university in CT ( i was careful not to bring up politics, as i’d have zero in common with him, and he was a nice guy).
He told me that he can’t track his hours in a way that averages out to 30 hours a week. even adding in office hours, preparing lesson plans, teaching, grading papers, department meetings,he can’t get it to 30 hours a week. and that’s when school is in session, which is approximately 34 weeks each year. a big big reason why college costs so much.

good news is that if these leftists ever decide they actually want to fight it out over America...it won't last very long

agreed, the next civil war will be a whole lot shorter than the first one.
that kid couldn’t admit that the interviewer was asking him a question.
interviewer: what disinformation are we spreading?
kid: you don’t want to know.
interviewer; yes i do, that’s why i just asked you.
kid: no you didn’t.
he couldn’t admit that the guy asked him a question. why couldn’t he admit that?
what are we preparing that kid for, exactly? perhaps his own show at CNN?
