Seems russians want different sources of Information without the prying eyes the state
Russian media regulator Roskomnadzor also moved against foreign social media networks, and Russia banned news reports that aren’t favorable to its military.

Yeah, that had nothing to do with the pandemic and people shifting to telework scenarios.
