There are a few spots you can go to monitor the PROJECTED, coming weather. I use www.wunderground.com and type in my spot (fast forecast) and shortcut that to my homepage. If you pay $5 you get no ads pop-ups or any of that crapola.

Use the Marine forecast (inshore/offshore) and look at the trends. Most of the storms moving west to east arrive later than the forecast for areas in the east.

It gives me a decent clue. I live on Nantucket and have to schedule vehicles on and off frequently. These past two weeks are beating me up !
