The Federal Reserve reports U.S. corporate profits have surged 25%, which is the biggest annual increase in close to 50 years. Some lawmakers are accusing companies of using the pandemic and supply chain issues as excuses to raise prices.

But the highest inflation in 40 years Love to hear how that works

Your side controls the federal government. Why aren’t they doing anything? is it because CEOs are mostly democrats now, so the democrats are pandering to the powerful billionaires who donate to them?

Your side controls the executive and legislative branch. If a bad thing is happening on their watch, whose fault is not?

Inflation jumped again in June on a persistent climb in gas, food and rent costs, notching another 40-year high and likely solidifying the Federal Reserve’s plans for another big rate hike this month.

Prices increased 9.1% from a year earlier, up from an annual rate of 8.6% the prior month and the largest gain since November 1981.

Inflation is a Global Issue:

Russia - 15.9%
Brazil - 11.8
Spain - 10.2
UK - 9.1
Nether - 8.6
Italy - 8.0
Mexico - 8.0
Canada - 7.7
Germany - 7.6
India - 7.0
South Korea - 6.0
France - 5.8
Australia - 5.1

Fascism is much worse than inflation.

Now CEOs are Dems?

I think somebody’s been feeding you edibles

Are you suggesting that the federal government institute price controls?

Frasier: Niles, I’ve just had the most marvelous idea for a website! People will post their opinions, cheeky bon mots, and insights, and others will reply in kind!

Niles: You have met “people”, haven’t you?

Surging prices for gas and diesel which drive all of the other increases

Yet big oil won’t pump more and US company’s made record profits

But it’s governments fault lol
