Jim there was no attempt .or coordinated effort by democrats to stop or stall the certification of the election or the peaceful Transition of power

The rules allow for an objection that requires 2 signatures

Republicans got 2 signatures on 2 objections thus causing a delay on the vote knowing Trumps plan and they knew about the fake electors hoping Pence would cave .

That’s the difference between 2016 and 2020

2020 was a coordinated conspiracy to overturn the national election to keep Trump in power the objections were part of the plan

2016 objectors were sore losers with no support or coordination from the sitting administration

I never said there were no differences, there were many differences. But both were cases of the losing side, unsuccessfully attempting to overturn a national election they lost.
