Cribbin one night in 2013 live eel had gotten in a monster that a buddy tried to help land fish flopped as he put lip grips on it and slid out of his hand he dove and jumped on the fish like a cowboy riding a horse blew up his knee as the fish laughed at us both and swam away. That fish made a 42lber I caught the following week look small. And last year on cutty had a fish hit a rigged eel that ran like a freight train snapped my leader never saw it but that one I dream about almost ripped the rod out of my hands

I still have a window in the crib day or night that you dangle a large live eel you will catch a a large fish during certain months. It’s a tiny window and it’s easy to miss but some odd reason it works. I haven’t fished the fish funnel in a few years but I bet it still works.
