One more on the way too long lists of misdiagnoses I am all to familiar with. Not for nothing, but sometimes I think over a certain perceived age / state of health and just maybe they don't seem to care or put in the time needed.

Diagnosis
My wife has been a RN in the emergency room of our local hospital for over 40 years. In that time I have met many doctors. For some reason because they have the letters MD behind their name we the public tend to believe that they are infallible I assure you they are not! They pass boards to become an MD and if they have a good memory they can pass with the correct answers. This however does not guarantee that their ability to use diagnostic science is up to par! Some are great, some are good, some just plain suck! As is the case with many other professions! Believe your own intuition.

Not to make light of Jeanne‘s experience ….
Early 70’s tending bar, chick comes in with a small dog, sets him on a stool, I figure I’ll be nice to the dog and make points with the chick,, leans over to pat it the fuc er nips my nose a couple time b 4 I could pull away… blood everywhere.. off to the CC hospital,,, doc checks me out, nurse come in a little later and sends me down to x ray for a chest x ray….. of course I was three sheets to the wind and was having a great time there…. LOL

Small improvemnt today, specifically this afternoon. Looks like a week in the hospital and then rehab facility or visiting nurses and PT.
We are praying there is no permanent brain impairment. She was more lucid this afternoon but quite far from when she was normal.
