I know a few marinas by me have freezers on site for the racks and they get picked up by lobster fishermen. There was also a company a few years ago that I spoke with who was just getting started with a rack recycling program for marinas. They would repurpose the racks for fertilizer or something, I forget exactly, but this might be a good opportunity for someone to pursue.
