It’s a nothing burger. We have a trade surplus with the UK. Only positive is it may show they will negotiate.

China is the big rock and they have huge leverage. Thousands of pounds of rare earth materials that go into F-35s, subs and bombs are mostly refined in China. 70% of products for baby care are made in China. If the US stops buying imports they’ll just tell their factory workers to do with less.

Ice hit our neighbors long time landscaping company this week, most of the workers will be deported if not already. I wonder how many small landscaping, roofing and painting companies will be folding as they loose their workers.

Kid Rock’s restaurant in Nashville had to close down when ice was doing sweeps so his illegal immigrant employees could shelter and not get rounded up. i guess ol kid rock thinks illegals need to go, except for the ones he can make money off of.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens to groceries when the deportation plan is fully implemented.
Groceries will really become an old fashioned word, unless you can find agricultural workers to replace them.
Maybe this administration will institute a Down to the Countryside program as part of their central economic planning.
