Thanks for putting this on Wee Wee, to help defray some of the expenses, fine job on both auctions.
Streetfight,
welcome aboard, and no problem about the misunderstanding, hell the thread was what, on page 40 or 50 when you bid ??

I would like to thank all the donors of this auction. As many of you plug makers know I love your work and have been trying to get my paws on these for quite some time. I wish I had the time to get into building them myself and swap…I have the tools just not the time or knowledge…maybe someday. I think the level of detail and fit and finish is simply unmatched, you all are gifted and very generous to donate them to the site. Since these are so hard to come by and since the collection was so complete I was really drooling to get them, but I was not expecting to win with guys like BETTLE and SWEDE and others consistently bidding.
To be honest I still think I got a good deal, and to know where the money was going made it that much easier to bid! JohnR does an amazing job as the site admin, and I know he puts in a lot of unpaid time to keep this going as it is. He certainly should not have to put up any money from his own wallet to keep this up. I think I speak for everyone that we are all thankful for his efforts. This place is a lot of fun.
I want you all to know that I get an amazing amount of enjoyment from fishing quality plugs like these in our famous NE fishing waters… especially the islands. Surf fishing alone with lures like these in waters around here is almost storybook-like for me, and I cherish the time I get to do it and can’t wait to feel the initial the hit from a big fish when I put them to use this spring. Anyway, I am really grateful and look forward to meeting you all sometime to thank you in person. I am not a very social guy but perhaps I can swing by one of your winter get-togethers…and if you ever out here fishing MV drop me a PM, maybe we can share a beer and story. Thanks Again to all!
Tight Lines
Sandman

Unfortunately I was at a meeting until 7 this evening. I definately would have gone to $600 but somehow I'm sure that Sandman would have claimed it for more. Congrats to the lucky winner and I am sure that your sentiments are those of everyone who comes to this site....
Merry Christmas to all...
This was a really fun thread.

That's OK - for those that feel left behind! We will be having a raffle coming soon for a Lami XRA132-2 Spiining Rod from M&D's, a possible Calcutta 400 from Bigfish (Larry - I have a question - maybe Wed if I can make the meeting?). And some other good stuff!

After leaving bassmasters cave we stopped in to see Mike at M&D's sunday. As per usual I look over what he has hanging in the rack. The 1322 catches my attention immediately, what a gorgeous stick. I know I'll be in for some of these tickets.
