Well said--your last sentence says it all. Most the bass that i kept this year were long and skinny and had mostly lobsters in them. Can a bass get fat eating bugs? I can remember when i was a boy in the late 70's early 80's gang hooking pogies and catching good bass, tide runner weaks, and chopper blues. These fish were all fat as blimbs. Bass nose the bottom now for their forage, let's let them feed up top for a change.
