Thanks. Got some thinking ahead. There's a slight lean toward the Batson 1087. Then again I may hold off and stick with the bigger rods, which I have and tend to favor. My tackle room is full of big stuff--9/0 Siwash hooks, bank sinkers, heavy plugs, heavy jigs, etc.
I know there are times when smaller rigs out fish heavier rigs, its just when I head out into the night, its the meat rods that I bring. Its been this way the past few years. But looking at "Got Stripers" rubber got me thinking.........................................? ???

Only wish my pockets had a bit more depth.
